Our mail carriers did not go out today. Whatever happened with the "The unofficial motto, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds," Back in the day when most of the carriers were males the mail was always delivered, not so nowadays because most of the carriers are women.

My wife is a rural mail carrier, mail trucks didn't run Saturday or today. They had no mail to deliver.

Sometimes we go 2-3 days with out mail snow or rain definitely stops them in the rural Ozarks

Didn't check my mailbox yesterday but they are used to delivering in whiteout blizzards here. Our rural delivery people go by the old rules.

Not unusual for us to only get mail twice a week.

Mail delivery should go to every other day, they could get rid of half the carriers. Look at the money I just saved them.

No mail here either, they never deliver after a big snow storm lately...of course most people don't clear a path for the truck to stop either....

No mail for me Monday either. I don’t know if it was the road conditions or the fact that the plow truck knocked my mailbox sideways or we just didn’t have any mail.

My mail service is terrible. Even without snow, usually don’t get mail Saturday & Monday. Receive neighbors’ mail once a month. These are various people a couple miles away. A few times per some random person gives me my mail that showed up at their house.

Sounds like they are already doing that and more. Yet that wont stop them from price hikes 2-4 times a year.

They arent in business to deliver mail, ours deliver mostly Amazon packages. If Amazon ever goes to 100% their own drivers the USPS will fail to exist in any form that it is currently. I went into a larger Post Offfice facility awhile back city of 100,000 plus people. One lady was working the counter, the rest had taken the day off. (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman)

No mail here either. I had to take some packages to the Post office for deliveries yesterday, the gal working the counter said that the mail was not delivered to the local offices so hence, no mail deliveries yesterday. At least that is what she said.

Just checked my box, my mail was delivered yesterday. Didn't know till I joined this site that so
many people have crap delivery people for USPS and UPS. Ours are great, personable and get to know you.
They put packages in the mudroom door when not home and will hand deliver your mail to the door if something happens to your mailbox. Small villages and rural living where I am.

We always leave a gift card for our delivery gal at Christmas.

No mail here since this past Friday. No reason it can’t be delivered.

Mail service is a joke at least in northern illinois.
1our mail carrier is a lazy incompetent piece of crap from leaving packages outside of our box in all kinds of weather.never know when he's going to deliver it could be as early as 11am or as late as 4pm.have talked to the postmaster about him several times and he told us he's had several complaints on him and they get paid extra for bringing it to your house.the person/s we had before him were excellent leaving stuff on top of our chest freezer in the garage if it didnt fit in the box and you could set your clock when the mail would be delivered every day.
2 the hub or people working there is terrible I've had mail lost never to be found and it takes forever to get where its going.i can drive over the line to Wisconsin and mail envelopes or packages and they arrive in the 3 day period like its supposed too.
