Is there a problem using 1/8 inch stainless steel cable for beaver drowning cables? My old cables really deteriorated badly, thinking stainless would be a better option. How about using them for Earth Anchors too?

Make sure you use copper ferrules on them.

Can you elaborate please? I’ve used aluminum on stainless and didn’t have a problem that I’m aware of.

There are no regulations that I know of regulating drowners or anchors.

When they get wet, you get galvanic corrosion. If you're using them in dry environment, you probably wont have issues.

Because if not pulled or get lost, they stay there forever, will not rust up and break down.
