How tough is the drive to Fairbanks area from Bellingham WA .
I will be pulling a trailer with 10K pounds max.
I know winter conditions are a factor so plan to travel in a month or so.
Thanks in advance

It can be real tuff. It is winter. There is no predictability to weather/road conditions. (note: how accurate are weather predictors ant ways?) Tire chains and trailer bakes are a must. Very little services in the Yukon.

Life is hard. It's even harder if your stupid!

don't try and tow up here in the winter......period.....road maintenance sucks and when you hit the ditch tows are 5000$ +....think ice with snowstorms and zero cell coverage...very long distances between towns...like 500 miles....avoid at all costs...

X2. I have done it a couple times and March was the worst. Places like Trutch Mountain can be particularly hairy.

Wait until may or june.

Easy-peazy, just use common sense. Just did it in mid December. Towing Skid steer and excavator. 50 below for 900 miles, good traction at that temperature. Drive to road conditions, the brakes are not your friend.

GUK.....it's the sound they make when they hit the end of the cable
