Carolina Foxer OP trapper C Joined: Jun 2008 NC	Is there a supposed weight rating or tolerance on the split rings used for trap connectors? Any difference between the medium and large split rings other than the diamater? Thanks

Gary Benson trapper G Joined: Dec 2006 Very SE Nebraska	I learnt my lesson wirh split rings back in the late 70s. Lost a couple dozen traps and coons. Strong S hooks work well. Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Swamp Wolf trapper Joined: Apr 2009 South Ga - Almost Florida	Carolina Foxer, For coyotes (or the possibility of a large domestic)...I'd NEVER use split rings. 3/16" quick links will never let you down.
