As said above they are high energy but well mannered. Rem is with me all day at the farm, on the trap line, or out hunting birds. She is on the small side and she’s not afraid of anything. I figure that a big male coyote will get her someday. I do have to protect her from herself in some situations and she will drive you absolutely nuts in the tractor if there are rabbits or any wildlife.
Everything the left touches it destroys

This is JMO, I would not trust ANY Terrier around any little kids that are the age they cannot walk yet. Terriers are very hi strong. Never had a problem with them but I kept a very close eye on them. I had a Jack Russell. Great dogs!

Mine was not hard on my chickens or my cats. Any other cat came around he was after it. I feel a shock collar is a must. It helps keep them alive. He did like hunting pheasants a lot.
