I know several guys that have quit chewing but are now hooked on the nicotine pouches. Also a couple guys that quit smoking but now suck on those vape things. Doesn't seem like any gain to me - just trading one form of addiction for another. They can't seem to take that next step, which I think is pretty common, and probably by design. Vaping is not a draining on the lungs. No weazing, can still run (if you are young enough) Way cheaper than smoking. One 20$ vape will last a month. I hit a 50mg

They are not cancer causing. But you are correct, it is designed to be trading one addiction for another. I use the pouches, 6mg Velo plus. Used the 4mg Velo when I quit chewing the last time, but it was hard to find sometimes and I would pick up the 7mg if that was all they had. Then they changed to the Velo plus and quit making the regular Velo, the Plus supposedly comes in 3, 6 and 9mg but almost all the stores just carry the 6mg. The plus tastes better and lasts longer than the original so that is good. Still not as tasty as Copenhagen, but healthier. I've quit chewing a few times over the years, I might make it a couple years but when I get around people that are chewing that Copenhagen smells so dang good I would end up starting again if I don't have some nicotine crutch.

Same as bearcat, except ON’s. I use two 8 mg same time. Three in the morning. Been off cope for three years. Yes, I’m addicted to nicotine. And? Tolerance builds over time. Drink a lot of coffee too. I’ve tried Zyn and Velo. Like the ON’s better.

Have you tried Chantix? It worked for me but man I had some seriously wild dreams!! I had “champiix” in my head for some reason, but either way, me too and me too! My dreams could have been Quentin Tarantino films.

I quit an almost 30 year Copenhagen snuff habit a few years ago. This stuff was a lifesaver. https://blackbuffalo.com/products/straight-long-cut-5-can-rollThey make a zero nicotine version too so you can kind of wean off the nicotine. Coming up on three years tobacco free. Still crave it at least once a day to this day.

I chew Red Seal. It seems to be a milder form of chew compared to Copenhagen. One can lasts me about a week. The store where I buy Red Seal was giving away free samples of a new brand that came out. I don't remember what it was called. But, I took one pinch of it and got dizzy almost immediately. I tossed the can.

I dipped and chewed for 33 years. Quit with the pouches. Got addicted to them for a few years. Quit pouches about a year ago. Chew plain gum now like a maniac.
Miss dipping everyday!
I used to chew sugar free gum as a substitute to tobacco. The sugar in regular gum has to be really hard on your teeth. All the sugar free gum I found is sweetened with aspartame which is almost like poison. The only sugar free ingredient I will use is Stevia and I haven't found any gum sweetened with that.
