Hey this stuff is right on. Animals are humans too! The thing is this bill does not go far enough. There should also be fines and possible imprisonment for running over animals...for slicing and dicing earthworms while working the garden.....much much more could and should be done!

What the idiots forgot about is.....feeding their pets. How are you going to put beef, lamb, pig etc.. byproducts in the cat/dog food without slaughtering it first?

I am so glad I hauled butt out of that state 10 years ago. It is sad what the state has become. There are a lot of good folks there, like-minded like us. Most of the eastern half of Oregon (except Bend) is like most of us on here. I suppose there are a few good ones west of the Cascades as well, like beaverpeeler. Guess all the small towns on the coast will be screwed with no more seafood industry.

What's worse is the west coast climate would be perfect for me. Im finding heat and cold hard bringing out my MS symptoms so the mild year round climate there is idea. But I could never live there with those laws and people.
