Middle of nowhere between corpus and Victoria and saw this... Not sure if there like with fish and game or something but I'd say there taking bird watching kinda serious . Not sure what the birds are ,look like so kinda crane

Looks like Whooping Cranes. Not sure if that’s birdwatchers or researchers, a high percentage of the whoopers that migrate thru here are radio tagged and banded.
