If the tarrifs are a clear violation of the constitution why is the decision 6-3 and not unanimous Well obviously 2/3 of the justices feel it's unconstitutional... 50% of which are conservative justices.... 2 of which were appointed by Trump himself....

Yes, the vote results are obvious.
Maybe that 50% are not really conservative. It seems to me that the justices who regularly vote conservative voted differently from the majority. It seems to me the majority sided with the globalist agenda of raping the USA. Trumps tactics work for the good of the republic, imo.

Or maybe....just maybe.... it's possible to be extremely conservative while still realizing that not only were the tariffs unconstitutional, they were also detrimental to our country's economy. No... couldn't be that.....

Hopefully no judicial decisions were based on opinions about what is good for our economy. But I believe many liberal judges base judicial decisions on their own opinions and not law. That is obvious. Trump is the last chance to save the republic. Embrace it.

The part that kills me is there was a lot bipartisan support for tariffs until Trump was elected. Go figure.

I agree with your first statement. The decisions were based on constitutionality. Of course I believe some justices let their political bias come into play, but the judges that voted to overturn this were half conservative justices, not liberal ones. I am just sooooo sick of anyone that doesn't support Trump's every move being called liberals by Trump fans. I voted for Trump... 6 times....3 primaries, 3 general elections. If the 2024 general election were held today, I would vote for him again. That does not mean the man can do no wrong, or never make a mistake! IMO his tariffs were a mistake... for 2 reasons.... 1) they were unconstitutional and 2) they were detrimental to the welfare of our country. I support Trump in most things.... I love his handling of immigration. I have no complaints about his handling of foreign affairs. I approve of the deregulation he has pushed through. I approve of pretty much ALL social issues. Support the defunding of PBS, etc., support going after the dept of education. I even enjoy watching him make liberals lose their minds. I do NOT support his handling of the economy. I do NOT support his spending. I am a FISCAL conservative, something I don't think most of the people commenting on here even understand what is. If you (not you specifically, Marty, the collective you) wanna call me a liberal.... have at it. If you wanna say I have TDS, go for it! You can realize that the person you voted for is fulfilling some of your wishes while letting you down on others WITHOUT being labeled a liberal by people from your own party!

So what exactly, in your opinion does that mean, Aaron? Trapping, skinning, fleshing, etc. hasn't allowed me to read as much as I would have liked today. Do you agree that the tariffs would require congressional approval?

Firstly, glad you've been getting out and you guys are doing some skinning.
Anyhow, as I'm understanding it, using the Emergency Powers Act to institute tariffs was deemed "unprecedented" and was applied wrong. To answer your question , I believe it does require congressional approval as tariffs are still a tax and the Executive branch can't unilaterally enact a tax. I'm open to being wrong, but something can still be constitutional but it has to come from the correct branch of our government.

Jmo, but. Trump is our only hope so why not back him 100%. Nitpicking his program is not going to help. Without Trump you would have kamala and tamon Tim and their goal would be to make the whole country Minneapolis. Just say thank you and support the savior. Or say that you do not want to save the republic. Or don't care. We were teetering on the edge and thank God for Trump. My criticism of what Trump is doing is zero, just a thank you.
