Two American heroes were awarded the Medal of Honor during the State of the Union address.

Here's the story for Army Chief Warrant Officer 5 Eric Slover and Navy Capt. Royce Williams.

Medals of Honor awarded

Here's a good article describing the Chinook helicopter that Slover piloted during the raid.

Thanks for the video. I've never seen them used like that.

Thanks, makes sense for longer missions.

We had a B-1 beating up the pattern here yesterday and I got to see it doing a few touch and goes. Hadn't seen it for a few years. Take B-2 for granted and kind of nice to see another type.....

Read more about this hero, and he took 4 bullets through the legs and hip and still maneuvered the craft around so his gunners could eliminate the threat and still allowed safe exit of his ops crew........told his co-pilot though he might need him to assist getting them out........true hero

Good men, well deserving!

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
