As George Carlin said, think about how stupid the average person is and remember half of them are stupider than that. Social media has taken advantage of that and created and feed division. Believe or not there was a time when Democrats and Republicans worked together on some issues. Now everything is partisan just about 100 percent.

I think we should pick 10 or 12 banned members to bring back to Tman. Real trappers that will argue about trapping, not political soapboxers. It's good for us to argue over bait vs. lure for coyotes. I enjoyed those old threads. Learned a lot more from that than the echo chamber

You bet it is! By that standard my parents, married over 50 years should be enemies. Such a mindset is very unhealthy. Social media has been a cancer, even the people who created it, can admit so.

O'Reilly talked about the stupid on his show yesterday in relation to those who are against bringing down the Iran regime.

I don't know what "actively trying" to stop those activities means, but assuming it is someone who financially supports, for example PETA, I would call them somebody with whom I strongly disagree. Depending on what they say and/or act, I may call them something else that violates the no profanity rules.

But sticking with this example, if someone is really touched by a PETA commercial, loves dogs and decides to donate money, is that person your enemy? What if they are also Christian and maybe a veteran and straight party vote republican, is that person your enemy?

Politicians, other people and companies are making a lot of money keeping society jazzed up with all of this manufactured outrage.

Mostly just uneducated people. There's obviously the odd radical out there though, but they need help at the mental level, something not very many are qualified to do.
True hate & enemies are the type that I wouldn't go out of my way to save if they needed help. That list is short and would probably match almost everyone else's list no matter who they voted for.

One of the most disgusting things to watch are clips of college students being interviewed by asking them very simple questions and they have no clue.

They are racking up life altering debt and not learning what is important. They are so easily manipulated.

That will be the downfall of our country if not changed. This is one of the reason Charlie Kirk was murdered. He was opening up a lot of young minds.

i think i started checking the site out in 03 became a member later that year if i remember correctly we had 9000 members than made it through the first crash some how got busy with life with 4 teenagers for a few years than forgot my login and had changed emails by than had to rejoin that was 2017 i have never met most of you but have met a few some of the best advice and help on other issues i have ever seen on any site
