![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2026/03/full-698-288392-img_4755.jpeg) Have a young orchard of just 100 trees in their second year. Looking pretty good but about two weeks early for bloom. Hope we don't get a frost. Rabbiteye blueberries in the background. Trapping season over so I'm a farmer again and needing to catch up on farm stuff like pruning!

How many peaches are you planning to let a tree that size bear? Happy trapping! ScottW I don't know Scott. We try to thin to about 6-8" of limb per peach. But on bearing year one last year (fall planted trees in 2023) we got as many as 80 peaches per tree. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2026/03/full-698-288436-img_4327.jpeg)

That's pretty cold White but you may be OK if they're already set.

With what should these be sprayed? Before bloom of course.

In western Oregon our spray schedule is a copper spray at leaf fall in October, another one mid December, then mid January (all of these for leaf curl and bacterial blights) and then sulfurs at pre-bloom and full bloom for blossom blight-brown rot control. There are other blossom blight sprays that work better than sulfur but I'm certified organic and can't use them.

Thanks, peaches are new to me. My plan is ask the local ag store owner This week. Trees not emerged yet, below 20f wind chill tonight, yuk.
I could qualify Org too. Kind of proud of that. Noone cares, they want cheap. Now I just send them to the big grower$.

Dogwoods were bloomed today and we got a few inch's of SNOW this morning! Never seen that in my life. Co worker sent a video of hail south of me at same time it was coming a blizzard where i was! This weather is nuts! Snow?? All we got was rain....
Gotta find a way, a better way, I'd better wait
