midlander trapper M Joined: Nov 2012 midland, michigan	Theres likely a lot of reasons military isnt using mineral oil anymore...one of the most obvious being poor performance in extreme cold temps. Felt like an AI generated video....lots of false info out there unfortunately

Oleo Acres OP trapper O Joined: Mar 2012 Barbour county,WV	It probably is AI -but this fella was an armorer for Smith and Wesson and Ruger. After watching this one , I started using paint thinner and mineral oil exclusively . I'm 69 years old , and my guns are as clean and run as well as they ever have with Rem Oil , Breakfree CLP , Hoppes etc,,,, Just throwing this out there in case anyone wants to save a little money. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlRHDZfccl0 .
