Might as well start building pipelines from the Mississippi river now......Spring flood water could be pumped, and alleviate big problems on both ends of the country.

We hit 103 F today, 26 degrees above average. Earliest the Tucson area has reached 100. Supposed to be the same tomorrow. Only blessing is the overnight lows are in the mid 60's. In July the overnight lows are sometimes in the mid 80's.

We just came off a big rain and then a few days of wind. One day the wind was out of the west blowing hard and the next day the wind was out of the east blowing hard. Lots of roof damage in the county I'd say. Wish everyone the best.

That’s has been proposed for years and there is a plan, but like everything these days bureaucrats are in the way.

It's similar here in central IL. I planted hay in the fall the last couple years. Total waste due to now rain. Now planting it again right now hoping for rain but hearing a dry April is coming. Had to feed hay from July thru the winter. Usually only feed from December through winter.

When you're 20 and drop something you pick it up. When you're 80 you decide you don't need it anymore.

The Mississippi doesn't have any water to give. When I was in West TN this year it was almost half a mile to the edge of the water from the river bank. Lowest I've ever seen the big river in all my trips over it.

Gotta live up to the nickname...

What we’re seeing is spring coming later and fall coming later. More like a shift in seasons, but still getting the seasons.

It’s surprising about your fall seeded alfalfa, I’ve gone to fall seeded as it seems to do better, here we’ll get a late spring freeze that really damages the alfalfa.

I certainly ask them to pray for us in our time of need . Just like we do here. You’ll find that in Revelations.

That was a cute attempt at mockery, though.
