What's your color pick for painting early chevy engine blocks? Do you go with the body color or go bold with yellow, green, blue or whatever you like? Or original chevy orange?
Also, is there such a thing as too much chrome on the body and or engine? Im a more chrome the better type guy.

I’m also an original kinda guy. In my opinion, folks get too carried away with the eye candy. Enough is just right, another piece or two and it’s too much.

On rare occaasions I've seen too much chrome. Overall, I like chrome though.

I prefer the orange, but in the 80s Chevrolet painted the engines blue. My dad always said if it dont go, chrome it he hated chrome on engines and I agree with him for the most part. A little chrome goes a long way.

How early? Chevy painted their engines Grey before they adopted the orange color.
