I have shot lots of ducks in this pond that I couldn't get to with chest waders. There are still Beaver in it but they are having a hard enough time so I left them alone.

That Beaver pond has no inlet or outlet and is 5 feet low. My minnow pond behind the house looks the same. My apple trees all need water but I am not starting hauling water in the SPRING. North and South of here there is flooding. 32 degrees tonight. Crazy weather!

I have nothing clever to put here.

Here stuff planted after the last rain is in dry dirt so we really don’t know when it’ll germinate.

Funny some ponds and creeks are very low or even dry in this area. But I have ponds that I had dug years ago in my meadow that are full to the brim. But over all we are very dry for this time of year.

Here it seems to rain almost every day. Just been unseasonly cold. Last Sunday (May 3) had ice in my chicken water pans inside my barn. Trees only about half leafed out. Stream water too cold to bow fish for carp. Lots of ticks though.

Looks like it will take some time to get it back to normal 160. Drier then a popcorn fart here and nothing in the next 10 days that is promising.

You can have some of our rain, we've had enough for awhile. Farmers can't even plant.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

We are dry and cold down here. With creeks and rivers already as low as I’ve seen them this fall and a potential drought already started it isn’t good for anything.

Lot of areas in the wheat belt are dry an looks to be for the near future too. This is causing wheat prices to rise but if your yield is lower it is hard to contract if your yield looks to be lower or off.
The western corn belt, based on the long term weather reports looks to be drier than normal for this growing season as well. We were dry here for nearly two years Got a lot of snow and some really heavy late April rains, but has been dry and windy for the last week but cooler.

Over the year have you guys seen a cycle of dry periods? Or has this happening over a long period of time.
It has been a few year since 10$rats.
Development or agriculture have any impact?

After WA banned conventional trapping methods, my country was wet!
My brother in law and myself went into business in 2003.
Drainage districts and road departments were the main target.
We get a lot of rain, and the habitat is not there like it used to be. Myself I attribute most of that to the control of beaver, the removal of the dams and the cleaning of the channels.
So to say, I did some of it to myself.

Agriculture also has a large impact in whatcom country.
The smaller berry farmer don’t always follow Best Management Practices.
Everyone draining and tilling land because of the value.
