I agree with Slick Pan and WhiteCliffs. It takes very little effort to make your title convey what you’re post is about. You can even do it with a very short title if you put a minimal amount of thought into it.

If the title is something vague and especially if it is from a user who I know is a drama queen, I’m just scrolling right by.

Eh...wot?

Even after 20+ years here I occasionally get surprised. I really had thought that every possible thing that could be complained about on here, had been complained about before. And then I opened this thread.

Gotta find a way, a better way, I'd better wait

Wouldn't be so bad if so many of them were actually intresting. Sometimes I wonder if people think that they just need to post "something " but some must like it because theres always several responses no matter what topic is. But it sure seems like the traffic here is slowing down. I dont know if we are running out of intresting topics or the ones that have something intresting to post are just getting fewer.

I don't belong to many forums , matter of fact I only belong to one other and posters on there always make the title of their thread clear about their subject. I enjoy trapping and it has been part of my life for a very long time. I would say a lot of the posters on Trapperman make their thread topic so one can understand and choose to read it or move on without opening it. But others well, why waste peoples time. It's like the posters want to be a drama queen and be recognized. For me it seems pretty childish.

It is what it is, I accept that.
But .... when searching for a pertinent topic to address a question, a clearly labeled post topic is extremely helpful.
That is what I mostly miss regarding the abbreviated methods. smile

Why don't you give a justifiable reason why you just did it. Comments three times in six hours, trying to learn Maybe you need a learing center.

I started the thread has anyone used one? And I had a picture in the thread of what I wanted people's opinions on that item. It wasnt click bait, it was a question of an item. You cant place pictures in the title that I know of to have a full view. I guess next time ill title it "I am wanting people's opinions on a lighter that looks like a light saber that advertises as it can melt cans and get up to 1800 degrees, just curious if anyone has used one in person and if they are worth the money."

In the thread ill place a picture with the brand, and say looking for gift ideas, these good or bad.
