I feel sorry for you young guys that still know what day it is..

Me too.
Since I retired I don't even think about what day of the week it is. I do look at my phone (or ask the wife) occasionally when I wonder about the day.

I tell my boys that everyday feels like Saturday except for Sunday.

yep, 6 Saturdays and a Sunday

The best way to look at retirement. It's a great thing to be retired

At work we have 5 Mondays, friday is Saturday eve. and Sunday is pre monday. .. no where close to retiring!

Light is at the end of the tunnel, but I dont want to rush it....I know what the next part of the life cycle is after you retire

Seriously.. retirement is what you make of it. If you really look forward to it and enjoy it, it can be great. But those guys who just retire and go home to sit around don't do too well at it.
Try to stay active and doing something..it makes all the difference in the world

My grandson had a genius teacher in his early grades. When he got done his assignments before anyone she sent him to the gym to run around and blow off steam. He has been accepted to a prestigious University. He excels in math so a future engineer I presume. I wasn't as lucky. I just got the strap for being a distraction. LOL

My son got an electrical engineering degree and makes good money.
He has been promoted 5 times in 3 years.
They offered him the opportunity to head up the new office in CA or NC.
Big money 350+

He is already burned out at 30 and wants to give it up and trap cats.
Money ain’t it if it interferes with peace of mind.
