Clearly not a single person would care or know anything about it if it was just sheet music being played. Its likely th teaching all about the riot and why these song was wrote by a liberal teacher pushing an agenda. There b is a reason the teacher picked this song over tha thousand of others after all.

it follows logically then, that the music teacher intended to introduce the backstory to they's students.
