…. Lot of French in the south… specifically Louisiana… my family settled in Mississippi then headed to Arkansas after the wrong side win the civil war .. they ended up in east Texas where my dad met my mom who is Irish… her side fought in the Texas revolution and for the confederacy…. So no Yankee ties at all
