The last time (yr) .......SNL .....made you laugh?

It's been a LONG time. It first aired in the Fall of 1975 and I graduated in 1976. I used to love that show. The mid to late 70's it was really funny. Aykroyd, Belushi, Chase, Curtin, Radner etc. were the "Not Ready for Prime Time Players." I haven't watched in many, many years.
They got away from comedy to the political diatribe, and it's just not worth watching any more.

I actually tried an entire episode here a while back

Never even cracked a smile ........time I spent , lost forever !

It was a show I watched while I was young, even years ago with a good cast it lost its allure to me.

What K-zoo said...very disappointing now. Kind of like Colbert...when he first hit the scene I laughed ...now I don't even bother.

Been a very long time for me to laugh at skits on SNL.
When I was a kid I loved SCTV, and there was a show for a short time called “Fridays” at night that was funny.
All gone now.

When Eddie Murphy was on the show. But even then, I didn't watch it faithfully. Lost it's appeal after the "Not Ready for Primetime" cast bagged it

Probably in the 80's. Haven't seen it in years; is it still even on-air?
