Smash I got prescribed it but it was 58$ a bottle I got the other prescription pantoprazole. A lot of times I wake up doubled over is the sucralfate worth it That’s absurd. I am in charge of ordering and inventory at the clinic and I can purchase a bottle of 500 for $60.

I had it done. They welded up the ulcer with a laser. Gave me an antibiotic. Said mine was the result of bacteria. That was 20 years ago. No more problems.

When I was living on Kessler's and baked potatoes I developed one. Drank some gut antacid for a month with Kessler's,,,,,,,, worked.

Milk of mag is an antacid, sort of, but is primarily a laxative. Maalox, mylanta(al hydroxide products), and sucralfate, mask the symptoms of overproduction of acid. Pantoprazole, omeprazole and others prevent the production of acid. As stated earlier, get the GI exam if you are having that much pain after a few days of pantoprazole. It might save your life. I lost a good friend who ignored similar symptoms to esophageal cancer . He loved his cigars. Tobacco and snuff are just as bad. Once my blood work comes back I think I’m going to go ahead and get the camera down the throat. Been gutting Copenhagen for about 17-18 years do I’m thinking the camera may be the better option even if it turns out to not be ulcers
