Tatiana commented on another thread she was an uninvited guest. That got me thinking about how a person became a member here. Aren't we all "uninvited" to start with? I assume all of us started reading the forum before we applied (is that the right word) to become a member. I was uninvited when I joined around 2002. Seems like I was "invited" in late 2006 after the site was repaired from the big crash.

And some of us were on other forums and yes version of this one prior to the date showing on our joined date currently.
I recall boggy, newt, a few others from “graybeard outdoors” forum. They talked me into coming over here way back then.

I joined after I read an article in T&PC mag about Charles Dobbins and it mentioned the T-Man. Way back in '94 I think. Survived several crashes.

I was here prior to the 2006 crash, I just happened to be banned at the time, LOL.

Don't remember when I joined or how I found this site really. I know I spent years going back reading. I sat up all night reading the first Alaskan thread I found. Sure been some characters over the years, that's for sure. I rarely log in anymore but I read almost daily.
