We caught a passing shower last night, about .6" so I did some sod drilling this morning and sprayed to finish off the cover crop and the undesirables coming up in it. No pics taken. I was trying to get done before I got cooked.

May go buy a tree puller this morning and do some sapling clearing in the pastures.

International 504, it is the best starting piece of equipment that I have. A 7 ft blower in the winter. A 6.5 ft tiller in the summer.

I have a 7 year old jd 65 hp. Just got it back from the shop. Replaced a $70 switch and a $7 “0” ring. $1200 for labor and $475 pick up and delivery. $1900. The downside of tractor ownership

This is what we are up to today, hopefully tomorrow too. Calling for more rain on Sunday. Squeezed in about 150 bales yesterday before a rain came through and shut us down. Got about 300 so far today, hoping we get in at least another 100 before we quit for the night.

Saw a hen turkey fly up this week and located her nest to mow around it. Had 11 eggs. She was back on it today when we went to rake and bale.

I like that planter. If you dont mind me asking what type of jobs do you use that pump on? Maybe flooding spots for ducks?
