Maybe one day they will include All Public land and not just game and fish land.but for now this is a step in the right direction.maybe one day a Pittman Robertson tax on paddle and birdwatching gear also.if you buy a hunting or fishing license you are exempt from having to have this new permit by the way

Im guessing you would already have a hunting or fishing license so it wouldn't apply to you anyways.but if you are speaking hypothetically then yes,enforcement sounds tricky.

Daniel boone forest has done it for years. In fact I think all national parks require one. Everglades you need one just to drive through it. Called day use pass. Your parked in their boundaries you better have a placard on mirror or you get a ticket.

Think about it. One .25 one vote. I always been for wildlife management for the hunter and fisherman. Long retired. Built viewing blinds, shorebird management for bird watchers. Even had a shorebird professional tell me the natural habitat dry and floods take care of that species. I think I said enough. But one more a limit on otter was crazy. Trappers know how to manage there resource or they found out the next season when they over did it. Enough said. Happy to buy my out of state permit to fish the White river and I know we’re my $ went. Nice country

That is also the thing about akansas. There is a general 1/8th cent sales tax of which the AR g&f receives 45 Million dollars each year. The complaint is the non-hunters and fishermen have already paid for the right to use the ground through the sales tax - consumptive use like fishing, hunting, and trapping require a license.
