Not all can be Bucks

Figured I’d get in on the fun. Bachelor group of 7-8 bucks been hanging around since they started nubbing out. This is in one of my Fall plots that I let overgrow during the Spring and Summer. Seems to be the only way that I can keep the clover through the summer heat and droughts. And the Rye seeds out for the birds.

Fawns and Turkeys…

Biggest of the Bachelor group.

Now I am not so sure any more. Clearly there are two white fawns in picture but I am not sure who they belong to. I think these two are different than first one so more than likely there are three new white fawns this year.

^ wow! If not distorted some how with lighting and angles that is a rare sighting. I hope you get more pics to confirm the color of them. Thanks for sharing.

These are starting to become regulars.

Bucks coming along nicely!!!

Looks like lots of nice bucks filling out nicely. Most of the bigger ones here head out to the wide open ag fields until late July early August when they will stop in to check back in. I think the heavy stem count makes it too easy to damage the antlers like this one.



This buck has stuck around ever since my neighbor hit him low in the leg last year. Amazing how well they can survive on three legs. Definitely went down quite a bit in antler department since last year.



Snowy, those white deer have become a nuisance here. More and more places where it is not uncommon to see 6-8 out in field together.

Put a camera up in middle of the creek, hoping to get some neat pics of critters.
