1st buck photographed last night with velvet off.....it begins! I think this is the earliest one I've ever seen. August 14th was the earliest.

Looks like a 3yr old to me, so his antlers don't meet my killin' criteria.

Yes, but not livestock.....private lands buck management. I don’t sell 'em. I selectively kill 'em or allow friends and family to do so. With good neighbors we all have a continuous supply of pretty good bucks each fall to choose from.

I've had the property leased for 26 years. Spent thousands of dollars on lease cost, diesel fuel, seed, fertilizer, lime, equipment & repairs, stands, and corn.

Poor man's deer management.....as I don't own the land...just control the hunting access.
