Whatever brand you choose you are looking at a 12x16 foot print at least. Any smaller and you will be cramped for space. I run a 12x12 Kodiak and it’s an excellent tent. Davis and Montana are American made and quality. Fwiw.

I have a 8'x9' Kodiak Canvas that works great for 2 people, and it is samll enough that we can pack it in the wilderness on horses. I also have a Kodiak 10'x10' that we use when there are more than 2 people. I see some really good deals on their 10x14 options if that is what you are looking for.

The 2 that I have are the flex bow style, and I do like them. I haven't used their cabin style.

Cant help on what brand. But I have a 14x14 canvas girl scout tent. Yes still has the logo on it! Fits 4 people just fine with a stove I built from an old air compressor. Made internal frame from conduit. I put a stove jack out the back wall instead of the roof. I run a tarp on the roof and didn't want a hole to leak. It makes it a little harder to keep the stove pipe on during wind. Make a conduit holder for it.
Might need to go bigger if u want a table and chairs inside or have messy people with u. Plastic bins under cots keep stuff organized. Only time u will say I wish I had a smaller tent is if its only you or your stove is too small.

Montana canvas, Davis tent, Elk mountain tents, Kodiak canvas tents are awesome because they are easy to put up and they have a vinyl floor. The Kodiak tents do not hold up well in heavy snow we have had several collapse over the years. If there is going to be 4 of you a larger 16x20 tent is going to be good for cots and all your gear to be able to stay inside with you.

My boys hunt elk in Wyoming. They have a canvas tent with cots and no floor. They can roll over and pee without getting out. Big plus. But this summer they bought cabins outside Dubois so its more tolerable. [Linked Image]

I would go with 16x20 as long as you are not packing it on your back. In the winter, by myself I use a 10x12x4 and it is "adequate" . I sure would not want 4 people in there.

A cabin outside of Dubois !!! Beautiful country. Cheap too grin

I have a 12 by 14 Montana canvas with the internal frame. It is what I use out in the desert cat and coyote trapping. I stay for a month to a month and a half. I built my own stove also have a 6 foot table large cooler small wooden table for cooking on a chair and an oversized cot. It fills up the inside. I would think a 16 by 20 would be way more comfortable with four people.

I have a Yukon Bell tent by Elk Mountain Tents. I really like the circular Bell tent design with just a center pole and tie out ropes all around the tent. Much easier to put up, especially by yourself. I've got the 16' version and it is a lot of room for myself and the wife, with a stove, cots and small table when we use it for elk camp. It isn't made of the same material as their other tents though, unfortunately it is made of a lighter material. So far still completely waterproof, but it has only had a little over a month of use cumulative. Unfortunately the pole they use with it is a little lightweight and last time I used it the pole bent in half and collapsed with only 4-5" of wet snow on it. Luckily the wife happened to be in camp (she didn't feel like hunting in the blowing wet snow) and was able to prop it up off the stove until I got back to camp and cut a center pole out of a 6" tree. If she wouldn't have been there it would have collapsed onto the stove and ruined the tent. I am going to make a new center pole out of heavier pipe for this fall.

Alaska tent and tarp 14x16 is a good size for 4 people and a stove if you are going by boat or snow machine. I use them for our youth camp, get 16 in there in the summer. We are not glamping though.

Not a tent, but I had a 10x14 shed I used at my place, with bunks and stove, I've had 3 people in it and that was barely tolerable, it was good for my son and myself...definitely would not want 4 in there...
