Fade or draw? What do you prefer?

Entry level players usually start with a big ol slice. Which as they get better, may turn into a gentle fade. Better players are able to hit a draw, and a lot try to do so as it seems to give more distance. A fade balloons up into the air and lands soft, a draw bores low, then turns over and hits the ground and runs. Then as players get really good, they have the distance, so go back to hitting a high gentle fade to control what happens when ball lands. Hitting it dead straight every time is also good, but hard to do on a consistent basis.

One of worst faults that can plague a guy is when they can only hit duck hooks, which is a violent, out of control draw. I have seen guys who could play and score remarkably well hitting a big high 30 yard slice. It was predictable.......so they went with it. Never have seen anyone play well with a big duck hook.
