Take 5 seconds and type in open cary geta gun taken away in U tube and take your pick of videos.

There is a difference between carrying in the field vs for daily carry.

If you can get you head around it you can see you make yourself a target. Defensive gin is is not a common thing so yes its rare even more when a gun gets taken away. But your still a target.

I would hope your smart enough to see your making yourself a target but just to dug in to your stance to admit it. The there is a region cops have double retention hosters. They were geting their guns taken away enough departments started requiring them.

Spend a few minutes geting educated on a subject it helps.

I see, I’m just not educated enough. How much education and training do I need?

I think the answer is just don’t live anywhere too “diverse.”

Not much just a few mints of open minded thinking. But that may be to much. I would post links for you with video showing open cary guys geting their guns taken. But it would be a wast of time and its way enough for you to look up.

Imagine if all the people who concealed suddenly switched to open carry. Bad guy walks into a place and sees one guy open carrying and pops him not knowing there’s three more concealed carry, makes sense (though I think statistically overblown). Now he walks into and sees four guys open carrying… he’ll turn around and find a softer target.

Not to mention it takes the gun out of the closet (heh) and puts it center stage in people’s noses. It normalizes them. Someone who may not be a fan of gun ownership suddenly sees a lot of people carrying… and nothing happening, may realize that guns aren’t the issue they thought they were.

I have made that argument in the past. Problem is IF and maybe. If everyone would switch and maybe people would get used to it being normalized.

People that chose to conceal carry do so for personal reasons. And are not going to change. And the maybe well have you not noticed how ignorant the general population is. I mean gays for Palestine, jews voting for an Islamic politician. For a few examples.

I wouldn't put any faith in people to come to a logical conclusion.
