If I'm being tested for something, I can't imagine what I will face. This year of 2026 has been the worst streak I could ever imagine with losing so many family, friends, and very good acquaintances. Unreal that I have been averaging about almost 1 person a week this year that has died, diagnosed stage 4 terminal cancer, car wreck, failed organ transplant, drowned, suicide, natural passing of old age, and so on. A favorite cousin has a few issues with her blood counts last week and initially expected to improve. Week later she is at home in hospice care and maybe expected to make a week.

I know death is a natural part of the cycle and I don't normally get too uptight about it (with the exception of losing my Lab, Ruger) But dang this is crazy

That sounds like they missed something with your cousin.

some of it is that we just know a lot of people and many of them are getting to an age where one thing or another is going to be an issue.

I do think a lot of stage 4 cancer is , well not going around but , wow so many with it.

I agree if this is a test , I have no idea what for or to what end.

The China flu jab is catching up with a lot of them. Even if they didn't take it, everyone dies. There are three options there, before you, after you or at the same time.

I didn't take the jab and I did catch the virus. I do wonder if there will be long term effects later down the road.....to the O.P. , I hope things get better for you. Life sure is hard. Sometimes I wonder why it has to be so hard.

We’re just getting older and life is moving forward to the ultimate endpoint. For many, the bell shaped curve is on the side showing our immunity is disappearing fast. I’m just glad so many of us are still alive!

I'm old enough now that all my elders are gone, even at that no one in the family tree hardly ever talked with each other, most of the time I only received notice by reading obituaries in the news paper, now thats gone I see on face book once in a while but hardly ever any notice from the family tree !

I try to keep what's left of the family educated about notices, but it seems a life less need !
