We have a blizzard starting. Even the ramps on the interstate are closing. It will only last until Sunday morning. It is getting pretty fuzzy out and it just started.

Are they sweet? Or taste like a normal onion.More like a wild garlic , but onion bite. They are very good eating raw, cooked , and any way you want to use them , same as any onion or garlic. Some people gather bunches of them and can them for use all year .

Still a little early here yet, but with the weather we've had , should be up sooner this year.

I see lots of them in Trout season which is next month.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Thanks, guess they are only in mountainous regions? Sounds like they would be good to cook with. They grow on flat land and hillsides here

Ramps are good in about anything. They are a cross between an Onion and a Garlic. My wife loves them in Fried Potatoes, Omelettes, and as a Pizza Topping. I have been in the Hospital this past week and did not get out until last night but will be checking my Patch this week. If it is ready then I will go to Webster County and dig some and always plant another Bucket full on my Farm in Ivydale.
God please keep they 19 fallen UBB miners out of trouble up there.

This early we don't sell them by the pound. It's 3.00 a dozen. We have a guy who buys 200 lbs a week and we sell to him for 7.00 a.pound.
