My buddy did some on line bidding on coon. But when I called him he was on his way to the hospital.

I wonder what the cost is of having such an auction - receiving all the fur, grading it, listing it etc has to cost quite a bit. Can't see anyone is making anything off fur much these days

Yeah definitely has to be a lot of overhead. Hats off to fha for keeping the lights on thus far.
They do charge handling fees which helps for the furs that sell..I think it's $2.50 per coon...so those 1$ coon are costing 3.50 plus the 11% commission and whatever shipping costs.

I just got my bill for dressing several dozen beaver-a bit of a shocker.

May be a bit early to throw in the towel.

Terrible first impression however we will forget quickly if they finish strong
