You can go to the live feed and listen to the sale even though it is not live.

It looks like I may finally get to trap some Spring beaver after all! Matt Carlson better hire another skinner or two.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Thanks, I went back and listened. Otter prices weren't great. They will do good to average $30, probably closer to high 20's average

Zander fur was paying 22 bucks a head for green otter this morning

I sold put up blanket beaver for $38, larges for $20. Looks like their prices are in line with FHA

Gotta live up to the nickname...

Guess it depends on how you look at it. Otter haven't sold this good since 2017 at least.

I am stuck in the good ole days when an otter in your trap meant a $100 bill in your pocket

If that’s what the otter averaged, I’m way glad I sold local.

On the bright side they sold most of the western coyotes, market sucks but they moved them.

Same cannot be said for Easterns. Auctioneer isn't even looking up from the catalog for bids. Just reading them off cause he knows no one will bid

Canadians in the FHA area would be better off buying eastern and central coyote pelts for firewood than they would be buying actual wood. Be a lot cheaper

Anywhere from 19 to 2300. One lot was over 5600. Some small lots and some large lots

Sold for about the same prices really

Were larger lots lower grades, eastern types?

No sir. Lot 005-015 was 853 pelts. Lot 0021-0035 was 1305 pelts. Lot 0036-0060 was 2322 pelts

Those are all early lots to auction. Westerns, HVY-I. 1X-LG Heavies. The 853 lot was even select heavies. Good coyotes

You are talking strings then. 005-015 is 11 lots with 853 coyotes divided in to those lots.
