I paid $155 for a very sharp Genesis neck knife (worn around the neck) made by MTK. Some of their knives go up to $320.

$75 bucks max. I will never need another knife I have a lifetime supply. Some of my cheaper knives perform as well as some the more expensive ones.

It's all about the steel and the heat treat, $320.00 for a blade that I know will hold it's value isn't much when it comes to custom knives. Here's my necker gramps... ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/06/full-23125-181271-20230628_213206.jpg)

most I think I ever paid was 85
had a 140 dollar knife gifted to me , darn it if that isn't the one I can't find , I am about 98% sure it is in the house , I just don't know where it is an automatic so it isn't particularly large
I seem to find a lot of good users in the 25-50 price range that don't hurt so much if they get lost
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I have a decent Spyderco collection. Some of them were over $200…. My everyday carry - Spyderco Police model. It gets used a lot. Had it for over 25 years. Approximately $125 ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/06/full-3135-181277-20230628_225959.jpg) Great knife. Zero complaints.
