Just wow! Thanks! I had no idea of the work/process that went into not only hats, but garments as well. Very informative!! Great video! While it isn’t really necessary down here, I think I’m going to look into a beaver coat.

Beaver would be too heavy to wear in a warm climate.
Marten is very wearable in warm climates because of its extreme light weight of a garment.
Although a marten coat would be prohibitive costwise.

I hate to say it, but you’re probably right. Heck I rarely wear a coat as it is. I do have a nice waterproof hunting jacket I wear for miserable weather and what we consider “cold” lol.

Skin some of your possums WB, and make a jacket out of that! It's interesting that Paula Lishman prefers back split beaver.
