Beaver would be too heavy to wear in a warm climate. Marten is very wearable in warm climates because of its extreme light weight of a garment. Although a marten coat would be prohibitive costwise.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I hate to say it, but you’re probably right. Heck I rarely wear a coat as it is. I do have a nice waterproof hunting jacket I wear for miserable weather and what we consider “cold” lol.

Skin some of your possums WB, and make a jacket out of that! It's interesting that Paula Lishman prefers back split beaver.
