If they would learn how to remove them, they would find northerns are good eating. Although, I prefer walleyes to northerns. My favorite fresh water fish to eat would be perch. I have friend whose favorite fish to eat is smallmouth bass, if you can believe that. I think his taste buds are shot. That is one fish don't care for. I never keep them whenever I catch one. Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.
