I think investors backed out and companies looked at other options. The new gov might be a new hope for it if all moving parts has it in their best interest . Lines were upgraded and other routes have been built to get the same results with it. I don't ever see it happening or wanting it now.

I think TC energy got burned too bad the last time it got cancelled. I don't expect a retry with only a 4 year window. I could be wrong. The purpose was to bring heavy crude to Texas refineries from Canada. Most fracked Oil is light crude and much of it is exported.

They spent 1 billion dollars on state permits alone - That ship has sailed!

EU stated they're ready to buy our LNG though They have been buying it since somebody blew up Nordstream 1 . What choice do they have? Unless they want to frack their own gas?

But current admin, once again, attempted to hobble US energy AND our EU allies. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2024/11/full-2625-236118-1000001751.png)

It could go either way I'm thinking. With that much already invested it'd be hard for them to walk away. Hard to cut your losses when they're that big.
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

You know who owned Nordstream 1 and 2? Our EU allies and Russia.

Even though it was a great idea and would have moved oil to refineries quicker and cheaper it come with some negative factors.
One thing produces in US didn't want to mix their high dollar oil with Canada's very poor oil grade oil. The price of US oil would have been drastically cut in the quality grade of their oil (US) and would drastically cut the price of the high dollar oil in US.

Don't worry bit coin hit all time high and the U.S. is mining it. The EPA needs to shut that mining down. Just think how much electricity it takes to run all those computers and all those American made electric cars coming too. That will take a lot of oil, gas, coal or maybe wood, lol. The only real mining will be to get the ingredients for all those car batteries!
