No not yet .....I'm not much of a fisherman......maybe cause I ain't got no fish clock .....

A friend of mine was out ice fishing at a local lake a few years back. Here comes an ATV, driven by an OLD timer, pulled up next to him.
Out of the blue, the old man says, "You ain't gonna catch anything." My friend says "Oh yeah, why is that?"
The old timer says, "The cows are laying down. You won't catch fish if the cows are laying down."
The old guy starts up his ATV and away he goes. Funniest thing ever.

I go when I have time. It is about fishing, catching is nice but fishing is more important......jk

I'm like most other people. I go fishing when I have the time. We have a 2.5-3 acre strip pit about 60 feet from the house on the east side and another 47 acre strip pit about 150 feet from the house. If the fish don't want to bite it's no big deal. Not like I drove an hour to go fishing.

The game and fish graphs I find to be very poor predictor of freshwater fish feeding activity. Water temp, current, food source, cloud cover, barometric pressure, wind - and more - all affect fish feeding activity. I find those graphs a better predictor of terrestrial species

Nice 3 Fingers. I used to look at the tide book when I was on the Aleutian Islands and wanted to go fishing. We look at charts and find drop offs to fish. We thought it helped us.

I just throw a skate line in the bay, I’m not losing much in time or fuel to go look at it once a day. And for some reason beer tastes better when I’m on the water, so there’s that.
