Spot on assessment

I must have memory issues b/c I can't remember any of these "suddenly fiscally responsible red blooded American patriots" saying one word while Biden was in office. All I hear is their current whining with no solutions offered.

Are we to infer that the solution would have been to elect Harris? Every possible position these TDS jokers can take is laughable.

No one said Harris would be better. Are we to infer that you favor raising the national debt? Perhaps a smart person would be learning that of the two candidates last election NEITHER is the right person to right the country

It'll never happen. If our debt goes away, so does the dollar as the world's strongest currency. We lost when we went off gold and we lost when we went to a central banking system. Every fiat currency in history has failed. Ours is no different. It hasn't fail yet, but it will. When is the question.

The link below show what the US makes in arms sales to other nations. Don't know if that is the total or if there are other arms that are part of barter or trade systems or other means.

AI Overview
The US government makes a significant amount of revenue from selling weapons to other nations. A three-year rolling average for fiscal years 2022-2024 shows $83.6 billion in transferred defense articles and services through the Foreign Military Sales system. In fiscal year 2023 alone, the US did over $80 billion in business through this system, including grant assistance.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Foreign Military Sales (FMS):
This is a system where the US government manages the sale of defense equipment to foreign allies and partners. The Department of State's Office of Regional Security and Arms Transfers, in close partnership with the Department of Defense's Defense Security Cooperation Agency, manages the FMS approval process.
Direct Commercial Sales:
Foreign governments can also purchase arms directly from US companies, which also requires US government approval.
Record Highs:
In fiscal year 2023, the US saw record-high arms exports, with sales through the government reaching $80.9 billion and direct commercial sales reaching $157.5 billion, according to Reuters.
Increasing Demand:
The war in Ukraine has increased demand for US weapons, leading to a record $238 billion in total arms sales overseas in 2023, according to the BBC.

I figured pafoxman wouldn't answer Leftlane or me, so I looked up the results...

coming in at #3: Jill Stein...862, 049 votes
coming in at #4: Bobby Kennedy (who withdrew from the race)...756,393 votes
coming in at #5: Chase Oliver...650,126 votes

all three in the 0.5 percent range.

looks like yours is a very small minority position.

Your point? It does nothing to disprove that neither candidate (and all minority candidates) was a good option.

Cut every budget 10% and let the agency figure out how to deal with it Elon Musk and Taco have no idea of what is going on and now the Bro marriage is over still waiting for the Epstein files but it will be like waiting for the wall. Sad when some of congress that voted for the big beautiful bill now say they didn't know what was in it.

Yup. Elon says Trump is listed in the Epstein files. The bromance has crashed and burned. If you didn't see this coming a mile away I have a bridge I'll sell ya

does Elon have access to FBI files?

Comey did (no Friend of Trump)...he never made such claims; and he wasn't adverse to making stuff up (Russian hoax, pee-gate...)

I wonder why he never mentioned Epstein...

What kind of economy requires constant government borrowing stimulus to achieve growth? Not

a better question is 'what is YOUR point?"

if they (good, better, best "Candidate") isn't running, or doesn't get any votes to speak of; yours is a moot point of the highest order.

Funny how they're always ashamed to admit who they voted for.

Goes to show that deep down they know Trump was the better one.

Really?? So, using your logic, even if I think both candidates are unqualified, I need to pick one, never criticize anything they do, support them in every way. Nope, sorry. I can think for myself, I'm not a sheep like you are

This thread was never about who's better... candidate A vs B. But your response is telling. I guess deep down you know it's a terrible idea to eliminate answering to American people to extend debt. You just can't bring yourself to criticize anything your hero has done

Debt ceiling should be gone, both sides use it for ransom to get even more spending.
