Nessie, I've had two of those in my life. I thought I got two old ones in a row. Didn't think the skunkieness was intentional. Good information.Haha, me too! Took a swig and spit it out thinking it was skunky

I like my German beers—very malty. I don't like what is offered here; it's just not my thing. I'm a bit of a purist, so I make my own Hefewisen Dunkel and (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman). I can get the flavor I like.

I like most beers and seldom buy the same brand twice in a row. In my younger days, I drank mostly Busch Light, but the quality went south and the consistency was suspect.

I'm a Miller Lite guy most of the time.Me as well , did you know you get 5-6 per slice of bread well in carbs , not exactly in calories it is one of the best tasting light beers I like all sorts of beers , but for a daily drinker it is best if I stick to the lite

We had an old farmer neighbor that always drank a warm beer at his noon meal. It had to be warm beer.Worked with a guy that would order 3 beers right away (cans) and put 2 of them between his legs to warm them up. PBR, I believe was his choice.

Like my Grandpa, Miller High life here.
The only difference I never took a shine to drinking it warm like he did.

My grandpa kept the old style on the back porch most of the year if it would freeze or maybe June July August it went to the beer fridge in the basement otherwise back porch

Smithwicks, sam Adam's October fest, Amberbock, were some i preferred when I would drink one now and then. But the cuting carbs had eliminated my drinking alcohol. alcohol doesn't have carbs...it's the DELIVERY systems that have carbs. Same results. No alcohol=dont get the carbs. Best part is I didn't cut carbs for myself but only to support my wife that needed to due to becoming insulin resistant. Cutting the carbs solved her insulin issue, lost 40lbs and feeling beter.. I have lost 20 to 30 lbs Not sure becuseI didn't get a base line weight when we started I was not interested or trying to loose weight but clearly had it there to loose. And as it turns out the diet changes is also what is recommended for MS so I was ahead of myself on that. Once you see how much added sugar and empty calories people eat its easy to understand why Americans are so fat. | | |

Pfeiffers beer. Go to beer in college $3.99 a case in long neck bottles. The liquor store carried it for the college students My Grandfather had that beer as well.
That's what he always bought. Any idea if it's still made these days?

Used to drink old Milwaukee, coors light, bud light and now Busch light might be time to switch again to something different. Probably michelob ultra as I really like it but it's pricey.

Who drank Pfeiffers Beer? Do they still even make it? My dad used to bring home a case or three when I was a kid and we went fishing the backwaters of the Mississippi in Alma Wi. Picked it up in Nelson at Shorty's bar, which had the best seafood platter I've even had. That was only 50 years ago or so now. We had an old neighbor of my dad's Blackie we called him, who used to go up north deer hunting with us. He never hunted, but was our cook. He would bring along several cases of Pfeiffers beer. He never smoked, but always had a beer open like a chain smoker would always have a cigarette in his mouth. He never ventured far from our outdoor toilet. I remember one time we were sitting around playing cards when Blackie jumped up suddenly from the table and shouted, "Here we go!" He ran outside and not more than 10 seconds later he was back inside. My dad asked, "What was that all about?" To which Blackie replied, "False alarm, just gas."
