Had a DP and a coon stolen today. The sum B cut my pogo and stole it. I was on a private farm too. Might have to go ask the farmer if any suspicious activity has occurred.

I'm sorry that happened to you, it sucks every time.
You ever sit and think about what you'd do if you caught them in the act? I wonder if I'd end up in prison over it.

I had a bobcat stolen just the other day

I've always said I hope don't catch them in the act. I've had a lot stolen over the years road trapping especially. I don't know why people can't leave other peoples traps alone.

ADC, I've always said the same thing. I'm afraid of what I'd do. My old man chased a fur thief once, intending to beat him over the head with a 44 Blake and Lamb. I think my dad's short legs are the only thing that saved that fellows life. Guy dropped the rats though, and didn't come back.

A couple guys in my home town caught a trap thief with their traps in his hands, he dropped the traps and pulled a gun as I recall. He was just crazy enough to use it too if they'd pushed the issue.

It should be legal to shoot most thieves. The world would be a much better place in a few generations.

I have caught people turning animals loose from live traps. The last was two lezbo’s. Turned a squirrel loose in a park I was hired to trap. I watched with binoculars and got the plate numbers on the car they got in. Turned over to state police, in Oregon the State Police handle fish and wildlife laws. He looked them up and one worked for the Sherifs office, he called me, I told him the city wanted charges filed and he gave her a $6250.00 fine. Not sure what it was reduced to in court. I don’t think I’ll have anymore problems with those two, but it’s an adventure trapping squirrels in a city park.

Was traping beaver for the town..plugging up a culvert.

Go to check my traps..and iam knee deep in the water...can't find them anywhere..

Then I hear the voice behind me...I removed your traps..he said.

I don't like trapping and its cruel ..

I said ok...got out of the water and watched him go to his house

Next to the steam.

I called the town road agent and my CO.

The Fish & Game officer paid him a visit along with the Road agent

And told him...when the water goes over the road...that he would be

Responsible for the road repairs....well don't you know ..I got my traps back...

And set them back in the water...lol
