I inherited a boat and trailer(Spartan) which I have been able to mod with all the features I want except it has a straight rear cross bar and I would really love a drop bar that would aid in getting the boat bow into the tilt rollers at very shallow primitive landings I fish. Making one is beyond my fabricating skills. I have found an after market one that is an inch short and would require redrilling attachment bolt points, a challenge. I don’t think Spartan is in small trailers anymore for help from them. So my ? is what option anyone might have. What type of tradesman/shop might be able to customize something for me.

Would they be able to galv or powder coat it?

very likely powder coat if their oven is large enough
or at least paint it very well with a durable paint.

Theres a place.near hear that will hot dip galvanize stuff. Probably one near you. Have a weld shop fabricate this with bolt on flanges if that's how you want to do it. and they can drop it off to be hgd. Or they can dip the whole trailer after the new crossbar is welded in.

Have a local weld shop make it. Drill holes in it to drain water. Paint it.
Or buy a welder and learn a new skill.

If your talking about a tilt trailer a good 2 speed winch is worth thinking about.
