I inherited a boat and trailer(Spartan) which I have been able to mod with all the features I want except it has a straight rear cross bar and I would really love a drop bar that would aid in getting the boat bow into the tilt rollers at very shallow primitive landings I fish. Making one is beyond my fabricating skills. I have found an after market one that is an inch short and would require redrilling attachment bolt points, a challenge. I don’t think Spartan is in small trailers anymore for help from them. So my ? is what option anyone might have. What type of tradesman/shop might be able to customize something for me.

very likely powder coat if their oven is large enough
or at least paint it very well with a durable paint.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Theres a place.near hear that will hot dip galvanize stuff. Probably one near you. Have a weld shop fabricate this with bolt on flanges if that's how you want to do it. and they can drop it off to be hgd. Or they can dip the whole trailer after the new crossbar is welded in.

Have a local weld shop make it. Drill holes in it to drain water. Paint it.
Or buy a welder and learn a new skill.

If your talking about a tilt trailer a good 2 speed winch is worth thinking about.

Unfortunately it is not a tilt bed trailer, ideal for me, but the rear bar is bolts on so easy to replace. I am learning to hobby weld but the V bend is beyond me.

How much height do tilt rollers add?

If you are learning to weld, there is no better project for you to learn on than that. Get the angle you want for the drop you want and weld it up. Paint it and bolt it on. That way you can modify it exactly how you think it should be. Then if that doesn't work, you just modify it again and get it how you really want it. I assume if you're "hobby" welding, you have access to a welder. Have fun and don't panic, you can weld that. The great thing about welding is the ability to cut it off and weld it again if you don't like something, or get a different square tube and start over.

If i understand correctly there is a bolt on cross piece there now? Why not practice your skill by cutting that piece in the middle. Cutting it part way threw on each end where needs bent down. Then add in the middle piece that gets you back to full span. If you plan to replace the orginal anyway. Why not play with it use it as a learning tool. Might surprise your self what you can do with just a hack saw and welder.
My small boat trailer I have owned since 1977. Ive cut and redone bunch of stuff over years. Make it how I want it. No where near pretty but works for how I use it.

MJM, I don’t think tilt rollers adds any height as they flatten out as boat loads but do allow your bow to seat in them and lift up onto your trailers rear bar if water level at landing is low.

I have a 120v wire feed welder can it weld strong enough to safely hold of a floored 15’ boat? I could probably weld mod the ends of the after market V bar I have found to fit the bolt attachment points on the trailer. What options might I have corrosion protecting the welds beyond just paint? Can I get the ends regalvinized or powder coated? Are there small shops that do that? My craftsmen knowledge/experience has not been strong in the metals world.

For a small boat I like bunks. They are about as low as it gets. I drive on, not winch. If the back of the bunk is in the water I can load.
