especially when I was married I didn't care at all , especially if she didn't and she may have thought I was being goofy but also didn't care.

I use a leather holster. Used to use cheap encased or some other Amazon brand but tried a leather one and like them better. Go through one every 6-8 months

Phone in a case so it is not slick as an eel. Then in my shirt pocket most of the time. Might move it to a front pants pocket in certain circumstances like beaver trapping. But the shirt pocket works fine most of the time.

I make belt "holsters" for my phone. I've had beaver tail ones, fish skin ones and just plain leather. Can't stand phone in the pocket, it is too bulky. [Linked Image]

I put a pop socket on my phone, it won't slip out of my back pocket
I can put it in my front pocket with the flashlight on and the pop socket holds it partially out of my pocket for when I need a little light and both hands. Or just walking the dog after dark

I don't own a cell, so it is not a worry. I hated it when I had to carry one for work, even with them paying for it. I have no need or use for one.

For me I have my wallet in my right front pocket, and my phone in my left front pocket. Usually nothing in my back pockets unless its a small paper with a list of fields I need to tend to for the day and I will also use them to temporarily store tools while I am fixing fences so that they are easily within reach with one hand. I like to stache my vise grips, channel locks and wire cutters there.

I learned long ago to not keep anything valuable in my back pockets as they are far to easy to pick.

This time of year I wear bibs so phone goes in front pocket. Haven't had it fall out of there unexpected. Liberty brand has a zipper pocket in front. In summer when Im back in Dungrees, and yes my parents called them that too. I have a clip on belt case suits me fine. I carried a pager for almost 40 years. So was fairly easy transition from pager to phone. Although the phone is thinner its still bigger foot print. Than even the old blocky Motorola pagers in the 1980s. In my truck I have a holder on dash don't like it in pockets driving. Wife's jeep its blue toothed to jeep. So if im wearing jean it goes in door pocket.

The caps were not meant to indicate I was upset in any way. Never meant to convey that.

Just looking for other ways to carry besides pocket carry. Liking the cargo pant option but those don't work well at work or church.

Really liking the camo Klein but my wife's eyes would roll seeing that on my hip. LOL!!!

Biggest thing I can remember about back pocket carry was being at the Apple Store and some "larger" ladies walked in with their blinged up phones. They com-plained about not operating properly. I think the phone in question was a 15. The tech looked at it, asked how it was carried, and pointed out with clarity how it was bowed. I could see it from where I was sitting. It was a slight bend but a bend nonetheless. Sold me on no back packet carry because I know I would forget about it on the regular.

Other problem I have on pocket carry is apps getting opened even though I did not open them. I don't use 80% of the apps I have. Wallet, Music, Translate, Webex. Really doesn't matter which, just some get randomly opened. I know I am not the only one who has experienced this.

Just looking for a different option of carry and seeing how some carry theirs. I like the pants with the dedicated pocket.

Most carpenter pants have a perfect phone pocket, just make sure your phone fits.
