I have a very skewed vision of politics and people in general. I don't have that NEED for interaction with people and very much at peace when I'm in solitude. So there are many parts of what our tax and fee dollars pay for that I am opposed to. Pretty much the thought of things like why the heck do I pay additional tax dollars to feed your kid when its YOUR responsibility. The vast amount of programs out there benefit a few but paid for by the many. What ever happened to being self sufficient and paying your own way.
on my list - Get rid of salt on the roads. I'm willing to reduce the budget by making it illegal to disperse any sodium Chloride product on a public property. Take responsibility for yourself and learn how to drive. Your inability to have a snowflake on the road shouldn't force me to endure the rust caused by your needs.
and go.....

State and federal daycare subsidies. Who even knew these existed until the fraud was recently exposed.
Ps, ide rather have salt on the road than have someone slide through an intersection and kill my family.
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, & I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve

1. Paying unemployment to union workers that voted to go on strike. 2. Salt and or liquid deicer on the roads(use sand only) if you can't / don't know how to drive on snow a ice either learn or stay off the roads. 3. Taking tax dollars acquired thru the sale of gas and diesel to put in bicycle lanes.

Get rid of the waste and corruption then the sun would come out and the angels would sing it seems the lions share is wasted or stolen but all they want is more.

The clearing of roads isn’t so you can get to your pickleball tournament, it’s so emergency vehicles can get to people who have heart attacks from shoveling snow or putting out your house fire. lol

You could almost eliminate your property taxes, if you eliminated the service of educating children.

We had some major flooding several years ago the lake we live on went from over 100 yards from my house to to as close as 40 yards to the east of the house I had to move my coop and brooder house before they washed away. Lost about an acre of one of my lots closest to the lake it’s there but the 4 feet of soil is gone there’s a drop off now. I had to put roads in to get down to that level as the water recedes.
The road in front of my house went east to the state highway but that’s under water still the plan is to just close it in the future rather than open it back up. 100 year old farm houses are still under water on the other side of the lake roads closed over there too. The water level was heading towards the interstate that was put in and appears to be the original drainage route. The lake has no current way to run water off of it evaporation or ag watering systems are the only way it’s losing any water.
The county and State took zero responsibility for this problem but did spend $250,000 on drainage study that accomplished absolutely nothing for the residents. Not one county commissioner or employee has ever check on the damages or offered any help or even advice this whole time.
Last week I get some cryptic letter from the county about occupancy buildings that made no sense it’s just some lawyer made up BS to raise my taxes for services I’ll never see again. Nothing has changed at my place everything was permitted so it’s made up forced taxation by dividing things into a new configuration to boost my taxes. These are the same folks that want you to turn in your neighbors if they have a side job while they sit on their muffs. But if you upset their family members or friends they find ways to make problems for that person my neighbor found that out over a used lawnmower deal.
