A Kelly Cooper box call that I've had for probably 25-30 years. Love that thing.

I've got an old Greenhead box call that Dad gave me the day I was born that I like. I mostly use diaphragm calls, and have good luck making acceptable sounds with Woodhaven calls.

My favorite is my Dad’s Lynch fool proof. I killed my first turkey with it back in the late 70’s. It has been repaired a couple of times but still seals the deal. I use several different slates and mouth calls but nothing brings a bigger smile to my face than that old box call.

You guys already nailed my two favorites.

Knight and Hale Sla-Tek , I’ve had forever and it flat out sounds great.

And a lynch fool proof is hard to beat. Simple to use, killed a lot of toms with it in my lap

Perfection Turkey Calls (Jim Clay) Screamin Demon glass pot call. Sounds great but not very loud (get a lot of wind around here). Primos Power Crystal pot call. Sounds good but can make it loud and is more usable in high humidity conditions.

Yes that was him. Oh man, I will miss visiting with him at the NTA. I just googled his name and never heard about his passing. Kind of a shock to me, not much older than myself and was always a highlight talking to him at conventions.

A lynch 101 "fool Proof", purchased in 1974, still my favorite. (In all honesty it is not fool proof, merely fool resistant.)

I think that was probably the same show mine came from. I believe it was the "Deer and Turkey Spectacular" or something like that.
I couldn't make it to the show so I gave a buddy of mine some money to pick me up a good box call. Really good sounding call.

I still use mine. Although the sound has changed, mine seems like its gotten a higher pitch over the years. Or my hearing is just fading that fast. LOL
