MJM trapper M Joined: Dec 2006 ND	The best nail I ever used were horseshoe nails. They are tapered rectangle shape. They are very easy on boards, drive easy and can be pulled by hand. They are not cheap. "Not Really, Not Really" Mark J Monti "MJM you're a jerk."

Still drive them with a hammer but they allow you to raise the pelt off the board if you desire. Pull super easy. It takes half the time as driving nails Gotta live up to the nickname...

gibb trapper G Joined: Dec 2006 Timmins Ontario	Hate staples, fastest way to get your hand sliced up when you are grading. 2 inch box nails, have a narrow shank and regular head on them. Almost impossible to hit your thumb or fingers if you are using box nails. Near impossible to get all the staples out of a pelt and deadly on the folks that have to handle your fur.

Only have to drive one of these staples with a hammer for every 2 nails. Easy to pull, much faster than nails, and you won't miss any like you can with the little staples Gotta live up to the nickname...

Peavy Mart was closing down some stores here, (bankruptcy) and boxes 15 pounds were 5$ Can, 3 different lengths.....dang they are closed for good now Why did you not say earlier and I could have got you 10 boxes

We use to call them sex toys as if you hit your finger you where "screwed"! Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.
