It is really hard for me to understand why citizens would actively train and participate in actions designed to thwart the efforts of LEO trying to do a job that really needs to be done. These people are protecting criminals.
It's even harder for me to fathom elected officials condoning this behavior and publicly condemning the efforts of ICE, truly mind-boggling.
College, need I say more?

You can tell by the ones they interview on the news that IQ is clearly not a factor.

In Oregon the majority of people don't appreciate or want ICE here. I suspect the same is true in many other states as well. Expect push back.
I really wouldn't want to be an ICE officer. so, Oregonians LIKE living among/supporting lawbreakers and various criminals?? WHY? our state has about 39,000 people in our prisons. if you promise to KEEP them in your state, you can have them.

I really wouldn't want to be an ICE officer. You might be surprised what the true majority of people want when you only see the relatively few who stand in the street and yell profanities at Law Enforcement.

Yep, I can't imagine the majority of the people want criminals running their streets. Or that they want "mostly peaceful protesters" to be allowed to take over entire sections of towns and cities for long periods of time often doing a great deal of damage in the process.
You'd have to be nuts to want that and to continue voting for that.
Eh...wot?

WHY? our state has about 39,000 people in our prisons. if you promise to KEEP them in your state, you can have them. People are committing crimes every day in every State. Being an illegal is just one of them. The government routinely selects what they enforce and what they don't. There are very few people if anybody in America that isn't a criminal. I have worked with illegal workers and did not view this as some major crime. Now, the 30 plus years of illegal fishing I have witness ( and lack of enforcement) has had a major impact on our closed ( People still fishing for them) salmon seasons. Very easy to understand why people wouldn't want ICE to deport their labor force.

One day the liberals march against slavery, then the next day they march in support of illegal aliens so they can pay them sub-standard wages.
Just the right amount of whelm.

Very easy to understand why people wouldn't want ICE to deport their labor force. I'm going to call BS. what percentage of Oregonians (or Alaskans) actually employ other folks; let alone illegals. I'll bet it's a small percentage of the entire population. a quick search shows "more than 155,000" firms are subject to paying unemployment taxes for employees, out of a population of 4.27 million people.

Yeah, I'm certain all those white, middle-aged women protesters were upset about the loss of their labor force. LOL

Yeah, I'm certain all those white, middle-aged women protesters were upset about the loss of their labor force. LOL I agree, they probably just care about the illegals on a personal level. I don't.

You'd have to be nuts to want that and to continue voting for that. Yet in blue states, the majority of people vote for politicians who allow this to happen

I just gave an example of one group of people who do not want their labor force deported. You figure out what percent they are .

you seemed to offer that as a reasonable excuse why the majority of Oregonians wouldn't want ICE to operate in that state...
clearly those people don't constitute a majority of the population.
I'd also bet that if you polled the general population, more people would approve of ICE, than disapprove.

Mass deportations sounded good"Growing shares say the Trump administration is doing ‘too much’ to deport immigrants in the U.S. illegally" "As the Trump administration escalates its immigration enforcement efforts, 53% of Americans say it is doing “too much” when it comes to deporting immigrants who are living in the United States illegally. That share is up from 44% in March."
