We are plugging right along here. This is our first year canning in the new house. Have done about 40 jars of green beans from the garden and did 39 pints of sweet corn this past weekend. Next up is pasta sauce, potatoes, and maybe some peaches.

Same here. Canned 35 quarts of green beans, and 22 pints of pickles. Waiting on the corn. ( We freeze our corn.) Also waiting on tomatoes so we can put up tomato juice and salsa. Gotta love putting up your own food.

Canned pickled garlic scapes a few weeks ago. I'll be pulling the garlic next week. Waiting on the tomatoes and peppers for hot sauce and salsa

I used to do my canning indoors but I moved everything outside. The moisture from canning indoors was terrible. Now I can on a camp stove on the back patio.

I only can albacore tuna. Wish did others but not a lot of time. Also seems if you don't grow your own its not worth it. Farm stands cost more than buying from the stores around here. This year I'm planning on canning in retort bags rather than jars.

That microwave has a 400 CFM exhaust fan in it that goes out the roof. I let it run every little bit to suck the hot air away from the stove.

I'd much rather can inside in the 70 degree AC than outside when its 95 degrees grin

I did put dried catnip in pint jars to sell today. It smells fantastic.

Not yet for me. Will be soon. Things are drying up fast in the lighter soils around here. Later planted corn with less root growth is curling in this heat.
